Biography
San Francisco Bay Area native, Stephanie Sante is a critically acclaimed and successful NuLounge, Chill and NuJazz composer, producer, and multi instrumentalist. Equally adept on guitar, keyboards and grid instruments her music embodies skillfully blended layers of melodic harmonies that embrace a mix of uplifting, sultry, spacious and expansive tracks featuring elements of: Jazz and Downtempo.
After years of playing in various Jazz Fusion groups, Stephanie struck out on her own as a “solo artist” embracing electronics and venturing into the Ambient and New Age genre’s of music, creating and producing 3 highly acclaimed projects. Her first release ‘Into Light’ was awarded “Winner Radio Airplay” and finalist “Best New Age CD” from New Age Voice. Her 3rd release “Inner Beauty” was a New Age Voice finalist for “Best New Age/Electronic/Space CD”.
With her 4th release “Coffee Culture” Ms. Sante switched focus back to her Jazz based roots and began embracing NuJazz, Chill, Bossa and Lounge. ‘Coffee Culture’ introduced a mix of chilled grooves and acoustic/electric guitars. Coffee Culture was awarded “Best Concept Album” of the year by Muse’s Muse.
In 2010 Sante Music released ‘Prismatic’, Stephanie Sante’s break-through release. The track ‘Morning Breeze’ from the release “Prismatic” was featured on Fresh Trax at JazzLynx & Cafe’ Jazz (Syndicated Radio) and she was chosen as one of the top 50 new artists of the year.
Sante Music released Stephanie’s 8th release ‘State of Mind’ in 2014. The track “You and I” was awarded the November 2015 Winner of Best Song – Electronica/Ambient at The Akademia Music Awards.
Her 9th release ‘Luminescence’ was released in 2016. Numerous tracks from Luminescence, State of Mind and Prismatic have been chosen by Lounge Masters and appear on various “Vibes” and “Carnaby Street” compilations.
Stephanie Sante’s tenth release titled “As One” was released in Nov 2016 on EFFE Production Music featuring a mix of NuLounge and NuJazz.
Stephanie’s latest album “In Your Eyes” was released in May 2017 and immediately began receiving critical acclaim. The break out track “Can You Hear Me” charted in the Top Ten on ‘This is Lounge’ radio and hit the #1 spot on the charts in June. “In Your Eyes” made Journeyscapes Top 25 airplay albums for May and the track “Uptown” was chosen for Guido’s Lounge Cafe Broadcast ‘Mixed Conclusions’.
