Biography
Odette Di Maio is a singer and songwriter living in Milano, Italy.
Back in the mid-90s, Odette recorded 2 albums and several singles with Italian rock band SOON. She starred in different videoclips and toured intensively with the band SOON. They received several nominations (best performance, emerging band…) and appeared in popular TV music shows such as Festival di San Remo, Festivalbar and Roxy Bar.
Odette has also been touring all over Italy and Belgium for almost 2 decades with her acoustic show “L’America di Odette”, a personal synthesis of the best rock, folk and pop songs from USA. She also performed in United States, Singapore and South-East Asia.
After SOON, she has been collaborating with several other international artists: she co-wrote 2 songs with super-star Schiller (Germany) for his album Atemlos (the live performance of Atemlos has more than 1 million views on Youtube).
With the Bedroom Rockers she recorded a song that featured in TV series CSI Miami. The song was also used for a Martini commercial featuring Gwyneth Paltrow.
She also worked with famous Austrian artist Parov Stelar and Pilot Jazou, Deadburger, Francia Jazzline Orchestra, Ben Slavin, Lorbi.
Her latest project is “Miss O” with Belgian composer/producer Jan De Block.
